‘Co-creating the shift to clean mobility’, insights from the event
SSH Center events have been released with Co-creating the shift to clean mobility debate held by our partner Friends of Europe. On January 2023, a hundred of researchers, policymakers, business representatives, as well as civil society and citizens gathered in FoE’s venue to discuss clean mobility pathways and how to contribute to the EU policies.
The event, which had as speakers representatives from different European mobility fields like Cathy Macharis, professor at the VUB Faculty of Economics and coordinator of the Mobilise Research Group, Julia Poliscanova, senior Director at Transport & Environment (T&E) and Rosalinde van der Vlies, Director of the Clean Planet Directorate at DG RTD, addressed essential perspectives as how to understand societal behaviours related to mobility, best conditions to facilitate citizens access to clean mobility, regardless of their income and location or the critical role of Social Science and Humanities (SSH) contributing to mobility policies.
