SSH CENTRE Policy Insight Events

Aiming at contributing EU policies towards carbon neutrality by fostering social innovation, a collaboration between Social Sciences & Humanities (SSH) and Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) fields and providing transdisciplinary policy advice, the main core of these policy insight events, held by Friends of Europe, is to tackle social aspects of energy, climate and mobility topics giving the speaker to experts and citizens on each field to ensure an inclusive transition.

Aiming to overcome fragmentation across geography, discipline, and sustainability themes, the conclusions of these workshops were collected in a Position Statement translated into different EU and non-EU languages, which gathered best practices for better integrating SSH into EU research and innovation policy.
