Open Science and Open Education – Explore, Learn, Apply
Open Science is becoming central to Horizon Europe – not as a formality, but as a way to make research more transparent, collaborative and useful. In SSH CENTRE, we worked with dozens of researchers, coordinators and stakeholders to understand what “going open” really means in practice. The result is a set of resources you can use directly in your own Cluster 5 projects.
Open Social Science Online Course
A short, practical course built from our Open Social Science webinar. Five modules show how to apply Open Science and Open Education in real projects – from designing open workflows to engaging stakeholders and sharing results in reusable ways. Ideal for early‑career researchers and anyone preparing proposals or leading work packages.
Start learning and make openness part of your daily research practice
Digital Guidebook: How to Go Open
This guidebook turns Open Science requirements into concrete steps. It explains where openness fits in Horizon Europe proposals, how to embed it in work packages, and how to use it strategically to strengthen the Excellence, Impact, and Implementation section. It also introduces tools we used in SSH CENTRE – from Zenodo and open data workflows to stakeholder engagement and regional inclusion.
Use the guidebook to plan, implement and communicate Open Science with confidence
